Planning for the future

Calving for 2017 is just about over and it’s time to start planning for next year’s calves.  Our AI (Artificial Insemination) programme started this week with choosing our cows and giving them the necessary injections and preparations for fertilization.  Mungatta uses a combination of AI and natural methods to get the best calves we can.  It also helps to diversify our gene pool and bring into the herd the positive traits we need.
